Not only in production, but all processes in administration can also be optimised. This is the objective of Lean Administration.

There is often great potential in all the administration processes in an organisation. Beginning with sales and marketing (Lean Sales) and design (Lean Development), including order processing, personnel (Lean HR), finance (Lean Accounting) and computing (Lean IT).

Lean Administration – or Lean Office – uses the value stream analysis/ value stream design method to identify improvement potential and make full use of it. This trims the processes and makes them faster. Often repetitive tasks can be automated with the support of IT, unnecessary interfaces removed and the associated loses eliminated.
