In compliance with Art. 13 para. 1 of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act [Data protection DSG] ever person has a right to protect their privacy and their personal data from misuse. We meet these requirements. Personal data is handled with the utmost confidentiality and will not be sold to third parties or passed on to anyone. In close collaboration with our server provider we do our utmost to prevent our database being accessed by attacks, and data being lost, misused or corrupted. Our websites saves the following data to a log file when accessed: IP address, date, time, browser and general data on your operating system. This user data is used for anonymous statistical analysis to recognize trends to enable our services to be improved.

Google Inc. provides the most popular and frequently used analytical tool Google Analytics , which provides data to a Google Server in USA, Wertfabrik AG has no detailed knowledge of what data is provided to whom or where and whether it is anonymous.

 

Third Party Integration / Social Media

Our digital services have numerous interfaces to third party systems and functionality, such as Plug-ins to social networks e.g. Facebook, Twitter etc. If you have an account with one of these services they may also be able to measure and analyze your digital activity. Individual data such as IP-Addresses, browser settings and other parameters can thereby be provided to and saved by third parties. We have no control over this and accept no liability for this. Wertfabrik AG has no detailed knowledge of what data is provided to whom or where and whether it is anonymous.

 

Email Communication (Newsletter etc.)

The subsequent declarations clarify the content of our newsletter as well as subscription, distribution, statistical analysis and unsubscribing. By subscribing to our newsletter you acknowledge receipt and acceptance these conditions.

 

a) Newsletter content

We distribute newsletters, Emails and other electronic notifications with business information (subsequemtly referred to as newsletters) only with the permission of the recipient or a legal right.

 

b) Registration

If desired, you can subscribe to our newsletter. Subscription to our newsletter is subject to the double opt-in procedure. This means that after you subscribe, we send an email to the email address you provided asking you to confirm your desire to receive the newsletter. This is to ensure nobody can register with an email address that does not belong to them.

The statistical data includes whether the newsletter was opened, when it was opened and what links were activated. This information can be traced to individual users due to the technology used. But it is not our intention to monitor individual users. Analysis serves to improve and customise our services to viewer behavior and interests.

 

e) Unsubscribe / Cancellation

You can unsubscribe at any time i.e. withdraw your permission. A link to unsubscribe is given at the end of every newsletter.

 

f) Legal basis for data protection

In accordance the general data protection regulation (GDPR) of 25th May 2018 we hereby notify you that the agreement to receive Emails complies with the first sentence of Art. 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and /or Art. 7 para. 2 part 3 and para 3 of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act . The collection, analysis and recording of registration data complies with the first sentence of Art. 6(1)(f) (GDPR). WE strive to provide a user friendly and safe newsletter system that serves our business interests and the expectations of our users.

In addition we hereby notify you that you can prevent the use of your personal data  at any time by unsubscribing in accordance with Art 21 of the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act. This will prevent any direct advertising mailings.

 

Privacy policy for the use of Facebook plugins (like button)
